Well i think i have been making quite a number of posts about cameras but this time i am not talking about an ordinary pocket camera with 10 or 12 Megapixels and this time i am serious cause i,ll be talking about the Cameras with GigaPixels of Resolution, Thats right i am not joking cause The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency ( DARPA) has been working on a 2.3 gigapixel camera along with Autonomous Real-TimeGround Ubiquitous Surveillance - Image System (ARGUA-IS) which already has developed 1.8 (1800 Megapixels) gigapixel camera functioning in US Army.

The 2.3 gigapixel sensor can easily cover a range of 161 square kilometers and can zoom upto 30 centimeters enough to detect any minor activities on the ground.

With out any doubt we can say that 2.3 gigapixel camera is a breakthrough in camera technology.
