Their is beleif among the people of different age groups that social networks such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter etc are spoiling social life of the people and they are isolating them form interacting with friends from school, college or university, but this is not true as these social networking sites are actually helping them in expanding their social life.

A study in America has revealed that the people who use social networks are more efficient as it was found in the study that technology is actually helping, not hindering the social lives of the people.

Is has been stated in the study that the people who use social networks have a more diverse group of people interacting with them. The study also shows that these people have the same behavior  as the other ones who just want to stick with the friends form college or neighbor.

Some of the studies have also been done counter to that which revealed that social network users spend less time with their family, another study said that employes of multinational companies  in UK who use twitter  are costing UK businesses to about 1.8 billion pounds per year.

In order to conclude our discussion we must say that everything has its positive and negative aspects and it all depends on us Humans how we use  them.
