These days Video card or more technically speaking 3D Graphics card is an essential part of every computer as it not only helps any  High End game to look beautiful but it also increases the computational power of the computer.

But believe me this is an ordinary thing as Researchers of ASTRA group at the University of Antwerp have done something extraordinary by putting 6 Dual Nvidia Gforce GTX 295 cards and one Gforce GTX 275 card in a single computer which makes a total of 13 GPUs and is called as FASTRA II, Insane isn’t it, But they have not done this to beat any record by getting extra framerates or Resolution in a game, instead they have designed this machine for some sort of computational research.

FASTRA II is four times faster than the university’s super computer and is 300 times energy efficient. The whole system was built under 4000EUR. Impressive isn’t it.
