Professors and Students of University of Michigan has developed an application named Power tutor which monitors power consumed by the applications of Android Smartphone.

In today’s world Cell phones doesn’t only serves the calls and messages but also they act like a hand held computer devices which requires to have a long term batteries. Therefore it is necessary to save battery in all ways.

But we never know which application uses how much power so that we use it accordingly.

Power Tutor actually shows how different components uses power and shows comparison between screen, processor, network interface, global positioning system receiver.
