Over the past few years the trend in the Mobile Phone market has changed dramatically as we have seen the domination of Nokia before the year 2007 and even in early 2008 when more than 50% of the market was in the hands of Nokia. But the release of iPhone by Apple was the biggest setback in the history of Nokia and its market began to fall with a steep slope as People all over the world have turned to iPhone not because it was technically advanced but the people were fed-up of the same boring phones and they needed some fun and that was the point that caught people eyes.

Other companies have been struggling hard but here we must mention Samsung which has came a long way and kept its market share constant in this ever changing market and its quite appreciable.

RIM got the fifth position in the overall profits as more and more people are now addicted to mobile broadband and that thing helped it.

Palm and Sony Ericsson is out of the question and their is  no chance for their come back in the near future.
