After a long development phase, Google has unveiled its official Live video streaming channel which is named as Facebook Live. It is primarily designed to update the users about what is happening at the company headquarter but  now it is claimed that it will contain celebrity oriented videos, Facebook official announcements, press events, live streaming of developers conference as well as live chat with Engineers.

We can say Facebook Live as the PR Channel for the company. It is also being said that Facebook live is actually the extended form of their blog with the help of which they can easily communicate with their users. Moreover Facebook will use it to broadcast Interviews highlighting its latest products.

Facebook Live will act like an application that can be added to any Facebook Page. It has the ability to stream on multiple pages simultaneously. Facebook Live Widget Page which is hosted by live stream has different types of embeds available to be used including Player Widget, Video Library Widget and Chat widget.

However it was cleared by a Facebook representative that Facebook has no future plans of video streaming business and is not thinking of getting into content production.
