In a press release, Autodesk  have announced that they will be releasing AutoCAD WS mobile applications for the iOS devices so that engineers and designers can edit and share their AutoCAD Files on their iOS Devices on the go.

AutoCAD for  Mac was previously released in 1992 and since then none of its versions was released to be used on MAC computers. Autodesk has now realized that MAC has been been finding its way in corporate offices and its sales in the most recent quarter has reached up to 3.47 million, so this is the right time to Launch a stand alone AutoCad software for Mac computers.

Talking about the user interface, would be much like the same as that of the Windows but it would be much more engaging as we’ll be using Magic mouse and Magic track pad for navigation and and design purposes. The AutoCad will be using the same DWG file format that can be used in both Mac and Windows systems.

Finally i must say that it in not the Apple devices that have been waiting f or the AutoCad to be run on them, instead its the AutoCad its self wanted to Run on  such amazing devices especially the iPad where it will be fun for Engineers and designers to work on its huge multi-touch display where they can play with their designs in a more vibrant and engaging way.
