Two New Android Apps Launched by Google to help Blind People in Navigation

Google recently launched two new Android Applications which will help the Bling people to navigate arounf the town in better way. These Applications are Walky Talky and Intersection Explorer.

The First Application Walky Talky speaks the address of the locations to which the Blind person is passing. And it provides Walking directions with the help of Google Maps.These spoken walking directions with the help of Google Maps helps the blind persons to navigate around the town very easy.

The Second application Intersection Explorer helps in exploring the neighbourhood on Google Maps via touch exploration. Once the map has been loaded on the the Andriod phone touching the screen speaks the street at the nearest intersection. Also when you lift up the finger, it speaks the distance and finally let you know the new arrived intersection.

Such sort of applications on Andriod Phone is changing the world of low vision people and will be warmly welcomed in the future.
