iOS 4.1

iOS 4 is so slow on iPhone 3G that even the iPhone 3G users were forced to downgrade to iOS 3.1.3. Recently Apple claimed that iOS 4.1 has fixed all the performance issues of iPhone 3G.

Life Hacker folks checked it out by taking speed test to check out that  iOS 4.1 faster than 4.0, or is it just a wash?

The results are:

  • Messages: iOS 4.1 Wins (By a Little)
  • Maps: iOS 4.1 Wins (By a Lot)
  • Photos: iOS 4.1 Wins (Just Barely)
  • Safari: iOS 4.1 Wins (Just Barely)

The results are clearly shown in this video below:

iPhone 4 – Will it Blend?

Out of all these videos i personally like the death by Sniper bullet only because this causes  instant death, i don’t like the idea of giving torture before death.

With Face Recognition App Police will Identify Criminals in no time

Posted by Ali on Tuesday, 15 June, 2010

Thats right, iPhone will now be used for fighting crimes by identifying the criminals with a special App that is based on a system called as MORIS( Mobile offender Recognition and identification system).

The App works as face Recognition system and police can use it to identify people on the road who have any criminal record in the police data base.

As expected the App is quite expensive i.e $3000 and needs some hardware modification too, so forget the idea of owning this app and watch the video demo after the break….
